Team GVH#5

Team GVH#5 performs a variety of activities to help build Osaka, Kansai’s startup ecosystem.
A permanent specialist staff member is also posted to the building, to help faciliate connections not only with startup supporters, but to make introductions through our external network as well. This network is a unique feature offered by Team GVH#5 to support our startups.

City Management Senior Executive Manager

Chikara Takagishi

After joining Hankyu Railway, I have worked in project management for many different urban development projects.
Following experiences such as the 2012 launch of Hack Osaka, an international innovation conference, and other projects supporting entrepreneurship, I established GVH#5 in 2015. Since then, I have been in charge of startup support and the promotion of innovation with my work at Hankyu Hanshin Properties Corp., where I manage corporate venture capital, and the attraction and implementation of acceleration programs.

City Management Department Advisor

Masaaki Yoshikawa

CEO of Human Hub Japan (Former director of Osaka City Economic Strategy Bureau). In my work, I take part in general innovation administration in the city. I’m currently developing the Hack Osaka movement to make the city one joint development environment. I also serve as an advisor to Hankyu Hanshin Properties Corp., Japan Startup Support Association, and to startup companies, and others. I am J-Startup endorsed by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, a member of the same ministry’s Kansai Venture Supporters Conference, and a registered management consultant.

GVH#5 Community Manager

Chikako Tsuda

I am GVH#5’s resident community manager. I hope to be able to provide whatever support our members need as I watch over them, always with a positive attitude and some fun. I also participate in various projects related to the facility. As we aim to become Kansai’s greatest startup ecosystem, I’ll be working hard every day to help you as much as possible!

Nobuhide Okamoto

After joining Hanshin Electric Railway Co., Ltd. and being involved in the real estate redevelopment project in Umeda, Osaka. I was transferred to Taiwan in 2016 for a new business of an affiliated company. Returning to Japan in 2018, I took charge of the overseas housing business (Thailand and the Philippines) at Hankyu Hanshin Properties Corp..
I have been in my current position since April 2022, in charge of support for startups in Osaka.

Assistant Manager

Mari Takenouchi

After joining Hankyu Railway, I have worked in new business development at Hankyu Hanshin Holdings.
At Hankyu Hanshin Properties, I am currently in charge of collaborative work with entrepreneurs, including the consideration of industry collaborations with startups via corporate venture capital, and the promotion of startup acceleration programs.

Aoi Yoshida

At Hankyu Hanshin Properties Corp., I handle management of GVH#5, promotion of startup accelerator programs, and corporate venture capital operations. In my private life, I actively seek out art and interactions with artists, studying to use what I’ve learned in business as well.
